This excellent 2004 emerged from fractured slate soils, and was aged on its lias to provide additional texture and character. The 2004 Viña Somoza  Sobre Lias was given 48 hours of skin contact followed by aging on its lias in stainless steel vats for three months. It is a lovely-textured, nuanced, complex, dry white exhibiting superb notes of white peaches, currants and honeysuckle. Enjoy it over several years. It is amazing what progress Spain has made with its with wines.
