Tasting  Viña Somoza Clasico 2006
Very pale lemon colour with a fresh, zesty citrus and herb nose. The
palate is a delight, with excellent fruit concentration, apples,
citrus, minerals and herbs which is really clean and lively. The
fantastic fruit concentration and acid balance here is the key to
this wine, very individual in character and an absolute joy to
drink. A real find.

Somoza Selección 2006
Emerged from fractured slate soils, fermented in oak casks and aged on
its lias to provide additional texture and character. It is a
lovely-textured, nuanced, complex, dry white exhibiting superb notes
of white peaches, currants and honeysuckle. Enjoy it over several
years.
